Carlos Edriel Yulo finally reached the top of the podium after achieving the highest score in the MAG vault event at the 53rd World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Performing at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, Saturday (October 25th), Yulo scored 14,866 points.

This was Yulo's first gold medal at the 2025 Jakarta Gymnastics Games. In the floor exercise final, the Filipino gymnast could only finish third.

The silver medal in the vault event went to Artur Daytan of Armenia with 14,833 points. The bronze medal went to Ukrainian gymnast Nazar Chepurnyi with 14,483 points.
