Champions of the World and Olympics Dominate Apparatus Finals

The men’s apparatus finals of the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships promise an exciting showdown featuring top names — from continental champions to world and Olympic medalists.
In the floor exercise, British gymnast Jake Jarman leads the qualification with a score of 14.700. The 2024 Olympic bronze medalist and four-time European Champion will battle against the Philippines’ Carlos Yulo and Kameron Nelson from the United States.
Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan takes the top spot in the pommel horse with a score of 14.700. The 2024 Olympic silver medalist and three-time Asian champion will face tough competition from Hong Yanming of China and Patrick Hoopes of the United States.

In the still rings event, China’s Lan Xingyu leads the field with 14.766 points. The 2019 Asian and World Cup champion will compete against Donnell Whittenburg of the U.S. and his fellow countryman Zhang Boheng.
Two-time Olympic medalist Carlos Yulo from the Philippines continues his dominant form. Leading the vault qualification with 14.750 points, Yulo will face Artur Davtyan of Armenia and Nazar Cherpunyi of Ukraine in the final.
China’s Zou Jingyuan heads the parallel bars standings with an outstanding 15.466 points. The double Olympic champion (Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024) will go up against Japan’s Shinnosuke Oka, the triple gold medalist from the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In the horizontal bar, Japan’s Tomoharu Tsunogai leads with 14.800 points. The 2025 Asian Men’s Championships triple silver medalist is set to compete with strong contenders, including his senior Daiki Hashimoto, the reigning Olympic champion from both 2020 and 2024.
The men’s apparatus finals are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025.
